Bracket tax only
The calculator applies 2026 marginal brackets to the income entered. It does not claim credits such as the basic personal amount or disability, tuition, medical, donation, or age credits.

Provincial and territorial brackets apply based on your province or territory of residence at year-end. Quebec also receives a federal abatement, included here as a simple reduction to federal bracket tax.

RRSP and TFSA treatment
RRSP contributions are treated as deductible against taxable income. TFSA contributions are tracked as savings, but they do not reduce current-year income tax.
