2026 Canada estimator

Income tax calculator.

Estimate federal and provincial income tax from annual taxable or net income, then compare the result by province or territory.

Plain-English note. This is a bracket-based estimate. Real tax returns can change after credits, deductions, CPP/EI, surtaxes, premiums, capital gains treatment, and other personal details.

Estimate your tax

Enter annual income, RRSP and TFSA contributions, then choose the province or territory where you expect to be resident on December 31, 2026.

Use a yearly Canadian dollar amount before the RRSP deduction. Negative values are treated as $0.

RRSP deductions lower taxable income. The 2026 RRSP dollar limit is $35,390, but your personal room may differ. Amounts above income are ignored in this estimate.

TFSA contributions do not reduce taxable income. The 2026 annual TFSA dollar limit is $7,000, plus any unused room.

Registered account note

RRSP entries estimate the current-year deduction only. TFSA entries are shown as savings contributions, not tax deductions.
